A Winning Tackle For The Rugby Football Union – RFU

Working for the Rugby Football Union (RFU) at Twickenham Stadium, Nexus successfully moved the World Rugby Museum’s contents into secure storage while a major refurbishment programme was underway. The contents are now safely reinstated in a new and improved venue for the public to enjoy.

Comprising an array of signature trophies and memorabilia – including the Webb Ellis Cup and the Calcutta Cup, the museum’s contents required a full packing and relocation service. Nexus managed a range of removal specialists, providing a single point of contact and ensuring continuity from start to finish.

Specialist packing cases, boxes and materials ensured the protection of each item, which were then moved using vehicles equipped with features such as air-ride suspension and tracking. Removal partners all had SC and CTC Level 2 security clearance.

Contents were stored in a high-security facility until the new building was ready, when they were safely installed in their new home.
